Pyet’s Plate is the culinary brand of Chef Pyet DeSpain, an award-winning private chef, cultural storyteller, and Next Level Chef champion. The brand shares Indigenous fusion cuisine, bringing together Native American and Mexican food traditions through modern culinary creativity. Its mission is to honor ancestral flavors, support sustainable food practices, and build connections through food, culture, and community.

Pyet’s Plate offers full-service private chef and catering experiences for intimate dinners, brunches, corporate gatherings, and other events. Additional services include online and in-person cooking classes, demonstrations, cultural workshops, consulting, keynote presentations, and cookbook signings that can include talks and live cooking. These experiences combine culinary instruction with storytelling and cultural education.

Chef Pyet’s debut cookbook, Rooted in Fire, features more than 60 dishes inspired by ancestral foodways, seasonal ingredients, and cultural heritage. The brand also shares her work through events and media, including Spirit Plate, a PBS Food series in which she cooks with Indigenous elders, farmers, fishermen, and knowledge keepers.
