The Penzance Regeneration Company (PZRC) is a not-for-profit company run by volunteers from the local community. It owns and manages property and regeneration projects in Penzance, with work part-funded by the UK Government’s Town and Future High Streets Fund and supported by Cornwall Council and the Penzance Town Deal Board. Its focus is revitalising the area and creating opportunities for the community.
PZRC is delivering three projects: bringing Market House back to life, developing 94MJS as a bouldering centre with complementary fitness facilities, and carrying out a total refurbishment of 28–30 Market Place. The company has also acquired funding to own and redevelop a portfolio of existing local properties and a brownfield site.
Its values include aiming for world-class standards, putting local interests first, and re-energising the area through opportunities, experiences and training. PZRC also seeks to foster an inclusive, generous and considerate culture, valuing people and the planet and listening to the community.
