Qatar Aluminum Extrusion Company (QALEX) is a Qatar-based manufacturer specializing in aluminium extrusion, surface treatment and fabrication. Established as a project of Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC), with participation from several Qatari business partners, QALEX operates facilities in the New Industrial Area and Mesaieed. The company describes itself as Qatar’s first aluminium extrusion plant and reports production capacity of 10,000 tons per year.
QALEX serves construction, industrial and architectural projects with aluminium products and finishing options. Its capabilities include extrusion on 7-inch and 8-inch presses, vertical and horizontal powder coating, polishing and brushing, CNC machining, punching, cutting, sand blasting and brush insertion.
