QC Renewable Energy consists of teams of engineers with experience in diversity culture and multilingualism who specialize in energy efficiency, solar energy and waste management. With the expertise we possess in the environment and energy and an understanding of the diversity area, we consider ourselves capable of finding sustainable solutions together with municipalities and other actors who work for sustainable energy and environmental monitoring. Through QC, we want to educate, create job opportunities, increase renewable energy use to improve people's health and quality of life, conditions for a sustainable economy and environmental sustainability. QC stands for Qurac, which means Acacia tortilis in Somali. Qurac is a tree that grows in northern, eastern and southern Africa. Qurac is one of the most common trees felled for building materials, firewood and coal production.

The name QC stands for Qurac, which is the Somali word for Acacia tortilis, a tree commonly cut down for building materials and fuel production in Africa.
