Quarterback Draw Football (QDF) is a family-friendly simulated football game created to make the sport easier to understand and enjoyable for players of different ages and experience levels. Developed by Diversified Sports Programs, a privately owned company founded by Frank O. Price, QDF grew from Price’s desire to teach football through an engaging game. Its original board-game concept was created in 1985 and patented in 1987.
QDF has evolved into several ways to play: a physical board game for home or tailgating, a tabletop version, an online game, and live group events featuring tournament-style competition. Online, players can compete against one another or against the game’s AI, earn game points, and access different play modes. The digital version also offers rewards for winning games.
