BL Qatar Partnership is an innovative collaboration that enriches the understanding of Middle Eastern history and culture through the Qatar Digital Library (QDL). Launched in 2014, this extensive online repository is one of the largest of its kind, offering free access to an impressive array of historical source materials. By combining resources from the Qatar Foundation, Qatar National Library, and the British Library, the QDL showcases over 2 million digitized pages that encompass archives, maps, manuscripts, sound recordings, and visual arts, available in both English and Arabic.

Significant highlights from the QDL include the India Office Records, private papers of notable historical figures, and a rich collection of Arabic scientific manuscripts on various subjects such as medicine and mathematics.
