QhoD is a pioneering digital platform dedicated to the study of Habsburg-Ottoman diplomacy from 1500 to 1918. This initiative plays a crucial role in editing and providing access to various source materials that chronicle the diplomatic relations between the Habsburg Monarchy and the Ottoman Empire, starting from the late 15th century until the aftermath of World War I. QhoD is rooted in a cultural understanding of politics and contributes to the New Diplomatic History by editing all types of sources related to major embassies.

The platform not only organizes an extensive range of resources but also encourages researchers to publish their findings in independent sub-projects. Users can explore the database through various filters, including source type, language, and timeline, or conduct full-text searches. Upcoming features include advanced search capabilities and a comprehensive register of events, places, and individuals pertinent to the studied period, further enriching the research landscape in historical diplomacy
