About Queenstown Lakes Community Housing Trust
Queenstown Lakes Community Housing Trust (QLCHT) is an independent, not-for-profit, community-owned organization that aims to transform the lives of committed individuals within the district by providing them with an opportunity to secure an affordable place to call home. Recognizing the need for affordable housing in the Queenstown Lakes District, the trust was formed in 2007 with a vision to address this issue. Many people express a desire to move into the district, but the high living costs and inadequate housing options often lead to them leaving within a year or two.
To assist low to moderate income households facing housing stress, QLCHT offers a range of housing programs specifically tailored to meet their needs.
