Quantum Life Technologies is a science and technology organization developing microtubule computing, an approach inspired by the structures that support both organization and computation in living systems. Its work focuses on microtubules: filamentous structures found in eukaryotic organisms, including neurons, cilia, and algae. The company’s mission is to explore computation in greater harmony with nature, offering an alternative perspective to conventional quantum computing and artificial intelligence.
Its research brings together six scientific frontiers around the microtubule substrate, including biophotonics, fractal structures, nested resonance, time-crystals, quasi-crystals, qualia-matter interactions, holograms, and retrocausality. Quantum Life Technologies describes its work as underpinned by 50 years of research.
The organization explores two computing architectures. In its self-organized approach, microtubules are allowed to grow so researchers can investigate which problems they may solve. In its designed-circuit approach, researchers select problems and build circuits intended to address them. The company also shares information about its science, research, team, and career opportunities, and invites people to connect and join its work.
