Prosthetics

Queensland Prosthetics is a modern clinic in Berrinba, Queensland, specialising in prosthetic care for people with lower-limb amputations. Led by Principal Prosthetist Denis Shaporev, the clinic provides patient-centred treatment for people of all ages and with a range of amputation levels. Its approach combines objective assessment and observation of movement with individually designed prostheses, thorough fitting and orientation, and training to help clients use their devices and pursue a wider range of physical activities.

The clinic offers prosthetic treatment and support through funding programs including QALS, DVA, NDIS, TAC and WorkCover, as well as private insurance and private arrangements. Its featured technologies include the VGK-GO! self-adaptive knee unit and solutions for short stumps, including a pentagonal socket. Queensland Prosthetics also provides consultations, including appointments offered free of charge, and invites people seeking professional advice or information about alternative prosthetic solutions to contact the clinic. Clients can arrange scheduled or emergency appointments, and the clinic shares updates and special offers through its website, Facebook page and newsletter.
