Quinsigamond Rowing Club (QRC) is a rowing club based at the Donahue Rowing Center in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, on Lake Quinsigamond. The club brings together rowers of varied experience, with programs ranging from novice participation to competitive rowing. Its offerings include masters sweep and sculling programs, seasonal rowing programs, and Learn to Row opportunities for people who want to try the sport or build their skills.
Beginner classes are offered in June, with sessions held on weekend mornings. QRC supports members with coaching, on-water technique guidance, practice workouts, and information about boat reservations, safety, lake conditions, traffic patterns, and rowing basics. The club also shares regatta schedules and results, news, and resources for the rowing community.
Members take part in local competitions and club events, including the annual Caffeine Classic, while the Quinsigamond Rowing Association hosts races and regattas on the lake. With pathways for both new and experienced rowers, QRC offers opportunities to learn, train, and participate in a welcoming rowing community
