Qua Qua is a brand that specializes in protein analysis for the needs of biomedicine and biotechnological industries. Their project, called Qua/Qua Protein, focuses on both quantitative and qualitative analysis of proteins, peptides, and amino acids. The project takes a multidisciplinary approach to address the problem of protein analysis, involving scientists from different areas of expertise.

Under the guidance of Dr. Nikola Basarić from the Laboratory for Synthetic Organic Chemistry, the project aims to develop a new synthesized reagent that will be subject to patent protection. The Institute for Physics and Technology of Materials and the Laboratory for Bioanalytics will contribute to the experimental development and usability of the new reagent. Additionally, knowledge transfer, technology transfer, and bioinformatics development of an innovative software package will be carried out in collaboration with the project partner, Conscius Ltd.
