Quatuor Coronati is the world's premier Masonic research lodge, established in 1884 and consecrated in 1886. Their founders took an evidence-based approach to Masonic history, known as the 'authentic school' of Masonic research, which replaced the more imaginative writings of earlier authors. Today, Quatuor Coronati (QC) continues to uphold these principles.

They hold meetings that include lectures five times a year, usually at Freemasons' Hall in London. Their lectures, research papers, and 'Notes & Queries' are published in Ars Quatuor Coronatorum (AQC), the annual Transactions of the Lodge. Quatuor Coronati also organizes conferences and symposia on various aspects of freemasonry.

Moreover, Quatuor Coronati oversees the prestigious Norman B Spencer Prize, an annual Masonic research award. They actively promote research and scholarship through the QC Correspondence Circle (QCCC), the world's oldest and first Masonic research society. Whether you are based in the Americas, Europe, India, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, or anywhere else in the world, Quatuor Coronati welcomes everyone to join their international community and become a member of QCCC.

They offer membership subscriptions and renewals, which can be conveniently made online or by phone. By joining, you gain access to their extensive research resources, including important Old Charges, Masonic Manuscripts, and historical documents related to Freemasonry.
