Queen City Mahjong is an American Mahjong instruction business founded by instructor Jill Graham in 2021. Based in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina area, the company also travels to other locations to teach. Its instructors help players learn the rules, strategies, and style of American Mahjong through a comprehensive, hands-on approach designed to make the game accessible and enjoyable.

Other offerings include refresher lessons, assisted open play, and sessions focused on additional topics. For groups seeking a more personal experience, the company hosts private Mahjong socials in clients’ homes or at clubs, bringing the game equipment and instructor to the gathering. These events can suit occasions such as birthdays, team-building, date nights, or casual get-togethers with friends, family, or coworkers.
Queen City Mahjong aims to build a welcoming community centered on fun and connection through Mahjong. Since its founding, the company reports filling more than 4,000 lesson seats.
