Queens Collaborative is a Queens-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works with community groups, artists, and neighbors to make creative activities and resources more accessible. Founded in 2021, the organization grew from a shared vision for a local community space centered on creativity. Its early projects included an artist-operated storefront featuring more than 100 Queens-based artisans, followed by maker markets, free-store activities, and creative workshops hosted with neighborhood partners.

Today, Queens Collaborative offers events and workshops where people can explore activities such as poetry, clothing mending, product photography, and drawing, while connecting with others. It also runs Spare Arts Supply, a network of self-service stations where people can donate art and craft materials they no longer need and find supplies to try something new. The organization welcomes community members who want to attend activities or propose an event, class, or meetup. Working alongside local partners, Queens Collaborative aims to reduce barriers to creative exploration and support community wellbeing through shared learning, materials, and opportunities to make.
