About QUEEN SHEBA VILLAGE
Queen Sheba Village is an online fashion boutique that offers a unique collection of African textiles and clothing, as well as Arabian essences for the body and senses, and crafted accessories from the African Motherland. Founded in 2005 by visionary entrepreneur Queen Sheba Cisse, the brand aims to aid humanity by empowering impoverished women through education and opportunity. The boutique showcases a wide assortment of exquisite African garments, including the signature collection of Malian Bazin and Bazin Riche cloth, created by legendary Bamako textile dyers.
They also offer Dutch Wax print fabrics, Ethiopian Netela head scarves, Gambian Dockette garments, Mauritanian Malfa cloaks, and Senegalese Bou-Bou gowns, among others. In addition to clothing, Queen Sheba Village provides body products such as Arabian bukhoor incense, Senegalese and Togolese Republic shea butters, and African and United Arab Emirates essential oils. Proceeds from the brand's sales in Senegal go towards a micro-credit loan program, supporting the development of sustainable, village-based businesses for Senegalese women.
