About Quickdraw Animation
Quickdraw Animation Society is a member-driven not-for-profit organization based in Calgary, Alberta. Established in 1984, Quickdraw Animation Society (QAS) is dedicated to fostering a creative community that promotes animation arts and culture. We offer a wide range of resources and opportunities to support independent animators and enthusiasts.
Our offerings include courses, workshops, and screenings to promote the art of animation. We also provide production resources such as equipment rentals, including both digital and analog tools for short- and long-term use. As Western Canada's largest animation library, we boast an extensive collection of films, books, and reference materials for our members.
Quickdraw Animation Society is not just a resource center, but also a thriving community committed to honoring and developing the medium of animation.
