About Quidditch Australia
The Australian Quidditch Association (AQA) is a vibrant not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the unique sport of quidditch in Australia. Established in 2011, following the successful inaugural QUAFL Cup, AQA has spearheaded the growth of this captivating sport adapted from J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The AQA facilitates a range of activities tailored to both competitive and recreational players. Key events include the national development conference, Quidcamp, which fosters skill-sharing and collaboration, and the QUAFL Cup, showcasing the country's top teams in a spirited multi-day championship. Additionally, state leagues in New South Wales and Victoria host monthly tournaments, along with various "come try" days and social events for newcomers.
