Quiet Cloud Tai Chi

Quiet Cloud Tai Chi & Qigong offers welcoming, accessible classes in Newcastle, New South Wales, including sessions at Charlestown Uniting Church and online options. Led by Kathie, the business supports people of different ages, fitness levels and mobility needs, including older adults and those recovering from illness or injury. Its approach centres on achievable movement, community and helping participants work towards their health goals.

Classes introduce Tai Chi and Qigong as gentle, low-impact practices that encourage movement, balance, coordination, strength and flexibility. They are intended to support both body and mind, helping participants manage stress, build confidence and maintain an active, fulfilling life as they age or recover. Quiet Cloud offers weekly classes for beginners through to advanced participants, along with short courses and workshops covering specialised skills such as weaponry and advanced techniques. Classes are designed to be small and welcoming, creating opportunities to learn and connect with others. In-person attendance is available, with online ways to exercise at home also offered.
