About Quifactum
Quifactum is a brand that is dedicated to restoring trust in craftsmanship and promoting transparency in the production chain. It all started when Mathias Slabbinck, the founder, noticed the #whomadeclothes campaign that arose after the Rana Plaza collapse. Inspired by his family business's collection of luxury home linens, called "Mirabel Slabbinck", which are handmade in their Bruges workshop, Mathias realized that these linens were not only more expensive than outsourced ones, but they were also made in a socially responsible, ethical, and transparent way, and of superior quality.
Driven by the desire to educate customers and restore the price/value balance, Mathias created Quifactum. This platform allows customers to discover the facts about how, when, where, and by whom the products were made. Quifactum also helps brands comply with upcoming legislation regarding due diligence in the supply chain, providing them with the necessary tools to do so. Moreover, Quifactum empowers brands to use production transparency for sales and marketing purposes.
Craftsmanship is at the core of Quifactum's philosophy. They believe that consumers should appreciate the work and skills required to make a quality product. By using Quifactum, you can become an informed consumer who understands the value of craftsmanship. Say goodbye to being a cynic and embrace transparency in production.
