About quintadacercaalcobaca.com
Quinta da Cerca do Colégio is a family-owned manor and event venue in the historic centre of Alcobaça, Portugal. Built in 1862, it was the first large house constructed after the Monastery of Alcobaça and stands amid the region’s Cistercian heritage and extensive orchards. The property offers privileged views of the monastery and the Aire and Candeeiros mountain ranges, with Lisbon approximately 120 kilometres away.
Once a private family retreat, the estate now welcomes guests to its gardens, terraces, outdoor areas and meadows for gatherings of different sizes. Its event spaces are suited to weddings, baptisms, corporate events, conferences, concerts, themed parties and small celebratory dinners. Quinta da Cerca do Colégio presents its historic setting and varied outdoor spaces as a backdrop for personal and professional occasions, aiming to give visitors a distinctive experience while continuing the story of the property. Located at Rua Dr. Francisco Zagalo 3, the venue can be contacted by telephone or email for enquiries about its celebrations and event offerings.
