Quinta do Quetzal is a winery, restaurant, and contemporary art destination in Vidigueira, in Portugal’s Alentejo region. Rooted in the character of the local land and its winemaking heritage, the estate produces wines from estate-grown grapes. Its collections include limited-edition cellar wines, estate wines inspired by the Serra do Mendro, and fresh, approachable Guadalupe wines. The range spans varietal and single-block wines, as well as sparkling, rosé, and fortified styles.
At the Quinta do Quetzal restaurant, Chef João Mourato reinterprets traditional Alentejo cuisine with fresh local ingredients and a contemporary approach. The restaurant has been recommended in the Michelin Guide 2026. Visitors can also explore the 450-square-metre Quetzal Art Center, which presents contemporary exhibitions and installations across the estate.
Experiences include guided winery and vineyard tours, wine tastings, wine-and-tapas pairings, vineyard picnics, lunches, and workshops with the chef.
