Quinta Rural Eco Lodge Cabreira is a small, nature-focused glamping retreat in the Serra da Cabreira mountains of northern Portugal. Set at 865 metres, the lodge offers expansive views and a quiet base for discovering the region’s villages, vineyards, waterfalls and rugged landscapes near Peneda-Gerês and Alvão nature parks. Its self-catering accommodation includes solid-wood Mountain Log Cabins, a loft, farmstead apartments, two courtyard houses and a mobile home. In summer, guests can also reserve one of four secluded pitches for a tent, folding camper or small campervan, or stay in a furnished canvas tent.

The grounds are designed for relaxed outdoor living, with seating areas, hammocks, picnic tables, swings and a natural spring-water plunge pool. Guests can enjoy walking, swimming, barbecues and local exploration, supported by the hosts’ personal recommendations for trails, swimming spots, villages and restaurants. In July and August, an honesty bar opens, and meals may be prepared when there is sufficient interest.
