QW Conservation is a specialist conservation and restoration studio established in 1998, serving clients in Rugby, Warwickshire, and arranging collection and delivery from central London and Birmingham. The studio works with museums, the antiques trade, collectors and private clients to care for European and Oriental ceramics, glass and related materials, from antiquity to the present day. Its services range from cleaning and basic repairs to complex reconstruction, with options spanning museum-style repairs and finishes designed to be invisible to the naked eye.
Work is carried out using quality materials and current conservation techniques, in a well-equipped, insured studio with security measures in place. QW Conservation handles a broad range of objects, including porcelain, bone china, earthenware, enamels, Islamic and Middle Eastern works of art, stoneware, decorative and ancient glass, marble, jade, studio pottery, polychrome wood and stone, gilt picture frames, pre-1947 ivory, alabaster, prehistoric artefacts and fossils. The practice is an associate member of ICON and follows its professional standards and code of conduct
