R-DayZ is an online launcher for accessing DayZ survival servers on Windows. The service is designed for players who want to join multiplayer games without purchasing DayZ through Steam; Steam must be open, but the site says the game itself does not need to be bought. Users download the launcher, open Steam, install the game through the launcher, then choose a server and play. Required server mods download automatically, and the launcher updates itself.

R-DayZ offers access to servers featuring several DayZ maps and settings, including Chernarus, Livonia, Frostline’s snowy Sakhal archipelago, Namalsk, and Badlands on the Nasdara map. The experience centers on DayZ’s survival gameplay, where players face hunger, cold, scavenging, and encounters with others, with opportunities for both player-versus-player combat and cooperation. The site also provides server listings with live player and capacity information, a step-by-step setup guide, and a Discord community. R-DayZ presents Badlands as available through its launcher without a separate Steam purchase.
