R'Innova

R’Innova is an association focused on studying, promoting and putting innovative ideas into practice to support local development. Based in Palermo, it works with the expertise of its members and external contributors across areas including sustainable development, the circular economy, environmental protection, employment and policy, and the modernisation of public and private economic sectors. Its work gives particular attention to Sicily and southern Italy, while also engaging with opportunities across the European Union and the Mediterranean region.

The association researches, analyses, organises and manages initiatives and services designed to make better use of local resources. These include training, research and experimentation, with an emphasis on building connections among different economic sectors at both local and international levels. R’Innova also shares information and perspectives through its website, blog and social channels, and encourages community involvement through membership and supporter participation. Its activities include contributing to the Oreto River and Coast Contract initiative and HerTour4Youth, a project aimed at strengthening young jobseekers’ digital skills in tourism and cultural heritage.
