About Red Afro
Red Afro Kenya is a technology platform brand dedicated to social good. They specialize in building innovative platforms that promote citizen engagement and participation in governance. One of their featured projects is the Dokeza Bill Platform, developed for Mzalendo Trust.
This platform allows the public to voice their opinions on legislative bills open for participation by the National Assembly and the Senate of Kenya, thereby increasing awareness and public involvement in the lawmaking process. Red Afro Kenya has also collaborated with Transparency International on the Drug Price Index project. The Kenya Drug Price Index (DPI) is a public resource accessible to everyone, providing information on drugs consumed by the public in Kenya.
The aim of this project is to establish a reference pricing system for medicines, preventing excessive pricing in the private sector supply chain. With a focus on social impact, Red Afro Kenya is dedicated to leveraging technology for the betterment of society
