Fundatia Romanian Angel Appeal is a non-governmental organization that has been working since 1991 to improve the quality of life for children and adults in need and to mitigate the risk of discrimination and social exclusion. Their mission is to provide medical, psychological, social, and material assistance to those affected by chronic illnesses and at risk of social exclusion. They achieve this through various initiatives such as medical aid, training courses, research, advocacy programs, and campaigns in collaboration with government authorities, companies, NGOs, and individuals.

One of their main focuses is working with the Roma community in Hârșova, where they recruit experts to develop educational materials and collaborate with community leaders to adapt the content to align with their values. Additionally, they are actively involved in addressing the specific needs of individuals with autism, with a campaign highlighting the unique challenges faced by over 40,000 people with autism in Romania and around 7 million in Europe.
