Rabea Movement

Rabea Movement Norway is a volunteer-led organisation based in the Alna district of Oslo. Founded by Kubra Ifzal in 2005 as Rabea Kvinneforening, it works to promote women’s physical and mental health and independence in Norway. Its activities also involve whole families, bringing together people across generations and offering support to families in need, women seeking a better life, men interested in learning, and children.

The organisation provides courses, seminars, guidance, exercise activities, and group events, as well as arranging trips. Its programme has included a fitness group for people aged 60 and over, a handicrafts group, cooking courses, seminars, and outings. Rabea Movement invites participants to join its activities and directs people to its Facebook page or to Kubra for further information. The organisation is registered in the Brønnøysund Register in Norway. Through its community-based programmes, Rabea Movement seeks to encourage wellbeing, learning, support, and greater independence among women and families.
