About Race Track Designer
RacetrackDesign is a browser-based circuit design platform for sim racers, motorsport fans, and track design teams. It lets users create custom race tracks by placing corners on a blank canvas, tracing routes on satellite imagery, or starting from templates, with no software installation or CAD experience required. Each design can be assessed with simulated lap times across vehicle classes, sector splits, safety, racing and flow scores, and an estimated circuit grade. Users can also drive their layouts in a real-time 3D view with speed, gear, and surface telemetry, helping them evaluate how a circuit feels before exporting it.
The platform offers free, unlimited track design, scoring, simulation, and map tracing. A one-time Lifetime payment unlocks Drive Mode, PDF reports, telemetry CSV, API access, and more than 20 export formats. These include ready-to-use Assetto Corsa and rFactor 2 files, OpenDRIVE for tools such as CARLA, CarMaker, and VTD, plus CAD, GIS, and 3D formats.
