Racket Arena

Racket Arena is a nonprofit, tax-exempt sports organization being developed in Laufen-Uhwiesen, in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland. Scheduled to open in September 2027, the arena is planned as a regional destination for tennis, padel and pickleball, with eight courts across the three sports. Its mission is to make racket sports accessible, bring people together and encourage movement across generations, regardless of age, experience or playing ability.

The organization plans community programs for children, young people, schools and adults aged 60 and over. These initiatives are designed to help participants discover the sports, develop skills, stay active and enjoy playing together. The arena will be located on Wassergasse, with free parking and access from nearby public transport; it is also described as reachable from the Uhwiesen or Benken motorway exits.

Racket Arena is supported by people from the region, including private individuals and investors, a representative of the municipality, and a board member of TC Uhwiesen.
