Rädda Djuren

Rädda Djuren is an animal sanctuary and rehoming organization located outside Örebro, Sweden. Founded in 2008, it provides a permanent home for animals who have experienced neglect, homelessness, bereavement, or other difficult circumstances. The farm is home to many species, including cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep, chickens, and ducks. The organization is run on a voluntary basis by Frida, with her husband assisting with building and fencing work.

Rädda Djuren also rehomes animals, primarily cats, with suitable new families. Newly arrived cats are first cared for in a quarantine house before moving to a separate cat house and outdoor enclosure. The sanctuary describes itself as a no-kill cat home and says it never euthanizes healthy animals; it also maintains close contact with a veterinarian and holds a permit from the County Administrative Board. Rädda Djuren opposes the killing and exploitation of animals and relies on donations and adoption fees, receiving no other grants or external support.
