Radiona

Radiona is a non-profit organization and citizens' lab based in Zagreb, dedicated to fostering a culture of creativity through DIY (do-it-yourself), DIWO (do-it-with-others), and DITO (do-it-together) initiatives. Established in 2011, Radiona serves as a makerspace and hackerspace, equipped with a media art lab, Repair Café, and an inclusion lab known as InkluLAB. The organization promotes STEAM education and interdisciplinary approaches, focusing on community building, social inclusion, and knowledge sharing.

Radiona offers an extensive range of programs including workshops, masterclasses, hackathons, and exhibitions, having organized over 600 activities that engage diverse audiences. Their initiatives encourage intergenerational collaboration and social awareness through hands-on experiences, such as soldering picnics and youth programs. With a network of over 180 partners, Radiona is instrumental in driving innovative projects and contributing to local and international dialogue in the arts and civic engagement. Open lab days invite the community to explore and participate in creative endeavors, making Radiona a vibrant hub for cultural exchange.
