Raeyah's Hands of Support

Raeyah’s Hands of Support is a charity established in June 2023 in memory of Raeyah Evans Rice, who died from stage 4 high-risk nephroblastoma at four years old. Founded by her parents, Becky and Kevin, alongside family friends, the organisation aims to honour Raeyah’s legacy by supporting children with autism and other disabilities as they undergo cancer treatment, and by raising awareness of childhood cancer.

The charity provides bespoke “Bundles of Fun”: sensory and entertainment packages tailored to each child’s needs and interests. Designed especially for children receiving treatment at Bristol Children’s Hospital, the packages offer comfort, calm and enjoyment during hospital stays and other difficult days. The charity also welcomes individuals, schools, businesses, preschools and nurseries to organise or join fundraising activities. Its events include raffles, auctions, sponsored challenges, parties, a summer gathering and the “Bunnies on Bikes” Easter ride. Through community fundraising and donations, Raeyah’s Hands of Support seeks to ease anxiety and bring moments of hope to children and their families facing cancer treatment.
