About Rafiki África
Rafiki África is a non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to development in Uganda. Our mission is to collaborate with the communities of Sembaule and Hoima in the villages of Katwe-Kenziga and Ikoba, respectively, to eliminate extreme poverty and improve living conditions. Our vision is to transform these areas into examples of prosperity and development, increasing dignity and self-esteem.
We believe in working together with the local population, rather than for them, and solving the challenges faced by refugees with minimal resources. At Rafiki África, our values include commitment, transparency, and creativity, with no administrative expenses. All our income is dedicated to ongoing projects.
Our flagship project, the Secondary Education School, aims to provide over 400 students with a quality education, ultimately boosting the local development index.
