About Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative
Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI) is an intergovernmental regional organization dedicated to combating corruption. RAI acts as a common platform for discussions, knowledge sharing, and best practices in the fight against corruption. With a motto of We look for better anti-corruption solutions together, RAI fosters cooperation among its member states: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, and Serbia.
Based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, RAI serves as a visible demonstration of its members' commitment to fighting corruption in Southeast Europe. RAI achieves its goals through tailored training, peer-to-peer learning, and exchange of modern knowledge products. The organization addresses priority areas such as enhancing transparency, public administration integrity, and raising awareness.
RAI's activities encompass regional cooperation in asset disclosure, the establishment of transparent rules and procedures in the public sector, whistleblowing, asset recovery, and crosscutting issues. By facilitating communication and collaboration among governments and civil society, RAI strives to develop effective anti-corruption mechanisms
