Railway Design

Railway Design Associates (RDA) offers classic HO scale model train kits featuring character-rich structures and other accessories for model railroads. Its catalog includes industrial buildings, commercial storefronts, transportation facilities, and roadside businesses, bringing variety to model layouts. Examples include Delaney Iron Works, a three-building complex combining a storage warehouse, brick office, and stone iron works building connected by a covered walkway; Hermanson Woolen Mill, a reissued favorite made with Hydrocal walls and featuring a clock tower and loading dock; and Indian River Moulding & Millwork, inspired by turn-of-the-century furniture and woodworking factories.

The range also covers stations, towers, garages, filling stations, taverns, and tool-and-die works. Kits may include molded plastic detail parts, as noted for Hermanson. RDA presents featured items and organizes its offerings in a structures category, helping enthusiasts explore options for distinctive scenes.

Through its online store, the brand makes its model railroad kits available to hobbyists
