Rainer's Wasserflöhe

Rainer’s Wasserflöhe is a swimming school run by instructor Rainer at the Merania indoor swimming pool in Lichtenfels. Its courses are designed for children, babies and adults, with options ranging from group lessons to individual instruction. Rainer emphasizes small groups, a private teaching atmosphere without spectators, and an approach shaped by humor, empathy and individual attention. Pauli, the school’s friendly course companion, also welcomes young swimmers.

The programme includes baby swimming for children aged three months to one year, children’s weekday courses for ages six and up, weekend or holiday courses, adult swimming courses, and one-to-one lessons for children or adults. The school also offers introductory diving sessions, which can be arranged as an activity for occasions such as children’s birthdays, and safety training. Course fees generally include pool admission and insurance; some swimming courses also include a badge. Baby swimming is currently unavailable to book, and demand may mean waiting times for other courses. Families can contact Rainer by phone or email to ask questions and register.
