Rainforest Ridge

Rainforest Ridge Lodge & Venue is a private getaway in The Crags near Plettenberg Bay, combining comfortable accommodation with the scenery of South Africa’s Garden Route. Set within an 11-hectare private nature reserve, the property offers sweeping views across mountains, forest, deep gorges and the Indian Ocean. Guests can choose from the Boho Private Lodge, the Modern Cottage and Canyon Cabins, with accommodation for up to 12 people. The lodge features comfortable extra-large beds, fresh cotton bedding and private decks overlooking the surrounding landscape.

The reserve includes a sub-tropical rainforest, more than five kilometres of private trails, and access to the Salt River and a stretch of the Tsitsikamma River. Guests can enjoy swimming in a large dam, hiking to a river swimming spot, birdwatching and sunset braais with panoramic views. The property also offers a ridge venue for weddings, celebrations and other functions, with capacity for events of around 10 to 50 people.
