About RaiseMe
RaiseMe is a social enterprise that aims to expand access to higher education, especially for low-income and first-generation students. Unlike traditional scholarships, which are typically awarded towards the end of high school, RaiseMe enables students to start earning micro-scholarships as early as 9th grade. These scholarships can be earned based on a variety of achievements, such as academic performance, community service, and participation in extracurricular activities.
With over a million students already signed up, representing two-thirds of high schools in America, RaiseMe has partnered with more than 330 colleges and universities, including prestigious institutions like Northeastern, Colby, and Penn State. On average, students earn $5,000 in annual scholarships through RaiseMe. By providing accessible opportunities for students to earn scholarships throughout high school, RaiseMe is leveling the playing field and ensuring that every student has the chance to pursue their college ambitions.
