Rākau Tautoko is a collective of skilled and creative practitioners dedicated to building engagement and empowerment in communities. Our team works alongside community groups, supporting them in co-designing programs that produce positive social impact. We focus on assisting whānau (families) in developing healthy relationships to combat family violence and improve the well-being of rangatahi (youth).

Our practitioners maintain high-quality community work and accountability through regular reflection and seeking supervision. As a charitable organization, we are committed to aligning our practice with specific purposes outlined in our constitution. Our principles are based on the Tāmaki Inclusive Engagement Strategy (TIES), providing a community-created, owned, and driven approach to engaging and empowering community members.
