About Rami Kanso Designs
Rami Kanso is a talented Lebanese-Slovakian graphic and motion designer, as well as a visual artist based in Doha. With more than eight years of experience in the broadcasting industry, he currently leads the Graphics & Branding team at Alaraby TV, where he has developed branding for over 12 flagship programs and contributed to the channel's rebranding. Rami's creative pursuits extend to animation and poster design, and he served as the Head of Visuals for the acclaimed West End musical, “Umm Kulthum: The Golden Era,” which premiered in March 2020.
His artwork, often described with the phrase "East resists West," showcases his distinctive style that incorporates calligraphy, collage, texture, typography, and symbolism to convey contemporary Arab identity. Noteworthy is his viral design for the Lebanese Revolution, which highlighted the artist's crucial role in revolutionary movements.
