Ranč pod Štěpánkou is a family-run horse ranch in Příchovice, set amid the mountain scenery and natural landscapes of the Jizera Mountains. Founded and operated by Katka’s family for more than 20 years, the ranch takes its name from Štěpánka, the oldest lookout tower in the Jizera Mountains. Its horses include Hanny Banny, a Czech Warmblood; Atlantic and Waldemar, Haflingers certified for hipporehabilitation; Fešák, a Haflinger; and Gaston, a miniature pony.
The ranch offers horse riding experiences for different ages and ability levels. Beginners can enjoy a 20- to 60-minute ride led by a guide, while more experienced riders can arrange escorted rides in the saddle lasting an hour or several hours. Children can also take regular or occasional riding lessons in the arena, and the ranch runs riding clubs. Weddings, school visits, celebrations, and camps are available by arrangement. Activities are planned in advance by telephone, allowing visitors to discuss suitable options and arrangements for their visit.
