Randonneurs

BC Randonneurs Cycling Club is a community for people interested in long-distance cycling in British Columbia. The club organizes rides across the province, with regional events in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, the Southern Interior, and the Peace Region. Its calendar includes rides of varied distances, from 200-kilometre events to 600-kilometre challenges, as well as permanents, populaires, Flèche and Trace events, and featured rides such as Paris-Brest-Paris and the VanIsle 1000.

The club’s website helps riders explore upcoming events, ride routes, results, and stories from the cycling community. Members can access profiles and ride histories, upload results, register for events, and renew their memberships. The site also provides information about randonneur cycling, ride types, awards, and club rules. People can get involved by joining the club’s discussion group, volunteering, or organizing a ride. News and event updates keep riders informed, while links to Facebook, Strava, and Ride with GPS offer additional ways to connect and find routes.
