About Jeannette Rankin Foundation
Jeannette Rankin Foundation is a brand that is dedicated to empowering women through education. Inspired by Jeannette Rankin, the first woman elected to the U. S.
Congress, the foundation's mission is to provide unrestricted Scholar Grants to women and nonbinary individuals who are 35 years or older and demonstrate financial need. These grants have helped over 1,300 women pursue their educational aspirations. The foundation was established in 1976 by Jeannette Rankin's personal assistant and a group of friends, who used $16,000 from Rankin's estate to create scholarships for women college students with low income.
Since then, the foundation has awarded over $4 million in Scholar Grants to women across the country. Jeannette Rankin Foundation is committed to transforming futures through education, and their vision is to inspire a better world by empowering women. They offer various Scholar Grants, including the National Scholar Grant, Emerge Grant, and Montana Tribal College Scholar Grant.
To support their mission, individuals can get involved by donating, volunteering, or leaving a legacy. The foundation also values corporate partnerships and hosts annual events to appreciate their volunteers. Join Jeannette Rankin Foundation in creating a more equitable society through education
