RANQ Clubhouse

The Rockclimbers Association of North Queensland (RANQ), formerly known as the Townsville and JCU Rockclimbing Club, is a community for people interested in climbing around Townsville and across North Queensland, Australia. The club welcomes beginners as well as experienced climbers, with members available to offer guidance. It organizes regular outdoor rock-climbing and bouldering trips, making it a welcoming place to learn, develop skills, and explore local climbing opportunities.

RANQ offers day passes for bouldering and top-rope climbing, with options to hire shoes and a harness, as well as three-month and annual memberships. The club says membership includes unlimited trips and gear, helping make climbing more accessible.
