About RANZ
The Roofing Association of New Zealand (RANZ) is the national trade organization and representative collective voice for the roofing industry. Established in 1994, RANZ works diligently on behalf of its members to develop industry communications, regulations, training, and more. RANZ’s mission is to deliver a high-performing roofing industry that protects New Zealand’s most important assets.
RANZ represents the roofing industry in all aspects of legislation and compliance involving government, regulatory, and local government authorities. The association comprises over 350 businesses and branches nationwide, employing over 2,750 skilled roofing installers or applicators. They are involved in the supply and installation of all roof systems and services available on the New Zealand market.
Notably, RANZ played a key role in introducing apprenticeship training and formal roofing industry qualifications registered on the NZQA framework. The association is actively engaged in overseeing industry training and qualifications to ensure a better skilled and qualified roofing industry.
