Raphaël Wagon Guide

Raphaël Wagon is a high-mountain guide and geologist based in the Vercors, offering guided mountain activities throughout the year. His programmes welcome a range of experience levels, from beginners seeking a first introduction to experienced climbers looking to develop their skills. Activities include mountaineering, rock climbing, climbing instruction, ski touring, off-piste skiing, ice climbing, via ferrata, via corda, ridge routes and treks across the Vercors high plateaus. Raphaël also leads outings in mountain areas beyond the Vercors, including the Ecrins and La Grave.

Safety, discovery, learning, sharing and personal challenge are central to his approach. He adapts outings to participants’ abilities and conditions, and draws on his geological background to share knowledge of the mountain environment. His services range from half-day introductions to multi-day courses and trips, supporting participants as they gain confidence and progress toward greater autonomy. Through guided experiences in both summer and winter, Raphaël invites individuals and groups to explore the landscapes and outdoor pursuits of the mountains.
