Raptor Refuge

Raptor Refuge Inc. is a dedicated not-for-profit organization located in Tasmania, established by Craig Webb, a former veterinary nurse. Nestled on a scenic 20-acre property overlooking Kettering and the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, the Refuge is committed to caring for and rehabilitating injured raptors, primarily Wedge-tailed Eagles and White-bellied Sea Eagles. With three of the largest raptor flight aviaries in the Southern Hemisphere, the facility is well-equipped for flight training during the recovery process.

Beyond rehabilitation, Raptor Refuge offers various educational and interactive experiences such as Private Walk & Talk Tours, the Serendipitous Eagle Encounter Tour, and workshops including painting and rescue courses. They also host events like the Bruny Island Bird Fest, promoting awareness about Tasmanian raptors and their conservation.

To support their mission, Raptor Refuge provides an array of merchandise, including books, clothing, and gift vouchers. Visitors can explore the Refuge’s commitment to wildlife protection while enjoying immersive encounters and learning opportunities.
