The RASC London Centre serves as a vibrant local chapter of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, dedicated to fostering public engagement with astronomy. The Centre offers an array of educational programs, including regular meetings and outreach activities focused on exploration of the cosmos. Members enjoy access to unique events such as the annual banquet, which commemorates significant astronomical phenomena, and upcoming celestial spectacles like the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.
Designed for astronomers of all levels, RASC London Centre hosts star parties, library resources, and community discussions at the Cronyn Observatory on the Western University campus. The Centre encourages both budding and seasoned astronomers to join its activities and take part in enriching experiences, which include hands-on challenges and exclusive workshops.
